My Opinion of Life on Planet Earth in 2021: Volume III 🌍

Six months on from my last blog regarding my opinion of life on our planet, and very aptly, Jamiroquai’s ‘Virtual Insanity’ is playing in the background.

We’ve just had a Climate Change meeting of the World’s leaders in a conference centre in Glasgow, Scotland. A country that’s part of an Island. Only accessible by England in an eco-friendly way. Setting a bloody good example, as you would expect, saw our PM taking a private jet to get there. If ever you needed confirmation that we are governed by Grade A tossers, then this was it. COP26 was meant to be a meeting of Governments to get their countries across the World all doing their bit. Alas, it has more than likely damaged the environment further via the air pollution flying into Glasgow, and then the return flights adding to it again. Am I the only person who is perplexed why this happened and how it was sanctioned? Call me sceptical, but was it just a massive PR stunt to make it seem like something is being done. Why didn’t they just have a Zoom meeting?

Then we have Greta Thunberg, an 18 year old Swedish girl who started bunking off school in protest to something or other is now a global voice on climate change. Did she sit her exams? Does she have any learned form of basis from which she is forming her points? She has been greatly lorded over and given honorary statuses here and there. But for what? It’s easy to say something that you can’t actually prove or substantiate. To say if we don’t do this, then this will happen. We are going to have this because we are doing this etc etc. It’s presumptions formed from assumptions that are based on the predictions of the unknown. If I, or anyone else had done what she has done, then the parents would have been fined because the child didn’t go to school. You’d have been arrested for being a nuisance outside a government building and god knows what else. She has said her generation is going to revolutionise the planet and conquer climate change. Good luck with that. Half of kids nowadays don’t know if they’re a boy, a girl, a tree or a fucking unicorn.

Here’s a presumption regarding the recycling of plastic and reducing the amount of plastic on the planet. Recycling doesn’t work. The only way to resolve the issue is to stop the production of plastic. Simple. McDonald’s introduced paper straws, yet kept plastic lids? Why don’t they sell soft drinks in cans instead? Simply because the profit from draught Coke or Fanta is massive. It’s about 7p to mix the syrup with soda yet they charge you more than 2000% than that for your drink.

The planet is getting warmer. This is due to our Sun, a massive ball of hydrogen imploding over and over again, forming helium. This is called nuclear fusion. It’s because the sun is constantly getting hotter. This is why we are experiencing warmer weather. Eventually the sun will expand to about 200 times its current radius, swallowing up Mercury and Venus. It is unknown if it has enough gases to expand in to Earth’s orbit and swallow us up. I reckon you and I don’t need to worry about it happening in our lifetime though. It’s nature. Pure and simple. That’s my take on it anyway.

On to my favourite boxer and his accomplishment on Nov 6th in becoming the unified Super-Middle Weight Champion of the World! Awesome achievement to capture all 4 belts after having none 12 months previous! Viva México 🇲🇽 Cabrones!

And Finally…..

There’s so much more interesting things to be absorbed in to for your life on this planet. You can’t be constantly worrying about tomorrow and tomorrow’s tomorrow. You’re then chasing a future which holds only one certainty for you. Death. Do you want to enjoy yourself? Of course you do. We are only experiencing the present moment. The past has gone. I could once run the 100m in 11.3 secs. Now I can’t run to catch a bus 😂.

You can share your experiences of your past with a friend or a person who is just experiencing your past moments in their present.

What we are told from an early age however, through our education system in schools, is the preparation for the future. Your exams at the end of school, further education, your vocation and your future has now completely preoccupied your mind. You don’t follow your true goals or aspirations as you believe that you have to earn money, which is a social convention, it doesn’t exist in reality, to succeed.

An omnipotent being would be a being whose power was unlimited. The power of human beings is limited in two distinct ways: we are limited with respect to our freedom of will, and we are limited in our ability to execute what we have willed.

Parameters on what we are able to achieve is a paralysis of our evolution.

Are the Lunatics Actually Running the Asylum? 🤯

Have you ever pondered the notion that the lunatics are actually running the asylum?

The asylum being the metaphorical world that we are living in?

The division and segregation of countries being echoed by the wards of this vast, spread out hospital over the grounds of what we have been told is Planet Earth?

Admission to this hospital is simply granted by the act of expression.

An expression of feelings.

Emotions.

Unique emotions.

The uniqueness of which is judged on the basis of originality, frequency and the extravagance of performance, by acute & obtuse degrees of theoretical judges, juries and executioners which have never been in the right angles to be able to understand.

Cared for by Doctors and their parties of staff. The Parliamentary Heads of Mental State.

Feeding a concoction of pharmaceutical propaganda to patients in their care, patients who are then stigmatised for it in the process.

Maybe this is because we’re the normal ones? 🤔

Is this really the reality that we are living?

Does reality exist?

What is reality?

Are you living your own life in your own reality?

Medication, especially antipsychotics and anticonvulsants, will alter your mind.

If you’re medicated, then you’re not going to be living your own life in your own reality?

Have you ever thought about that?

Questions that have always baffled me!?!?! 🤔🤯

Here’s a few questions and observations that I have found completely baffling…….

Goldilocks moaning about her porridge, “this porridge is too hot, this porridge is too cold..”

Why didn’t she just mix them together?

Why is abbreviation such a long word?

If you set off walking in a straight line, regardless of terrain and time restraints, would you return to your original starting point?

If you dug a hole in the ground straight down, would you eventually come out feet first on the other side of the world?

Does reality exist?

Are we living objectively or subjectively?

Why do you never see a homeless Chinese man?

You never see an old person eating a Twix?!

Sharks only eat wet people

Do you only remember the things in life you’re going to need, so you can learn from them?

Do you think that the Elephant Man ever got up one morning, looked in the mirror and said “my hairs’ a mess”

Why are the elderly scared in to worrying about how they are going to pay for their funeral with these adverts on TV? Just enjoy your money. If you’re skint when you croak it, they’re not going to leave you in the chair are they?

Everyone says Dolphins are intelligent. I’ve never seen one wire a plug

If we weren’t around the same time as Dinosaurs, how do we know what noises they made?

If you blow air out doing a ‘fuuu’ sound, it comes out cold. If you blow air out doing a ‘ha’ sound it comes out hot.

If Adam and Eve were the first people on Earth, how come in every picture of them they have bellybuttons?

If someone gets bitten by a shark, why is it reported that they were in shark infested waters? It’s not shark infested, it’s where they live

How come you travel 100 miles in England and there’s about 7/8 different accents, different names for the same things yet you travel the same distance in America and nothing changes?

Does any country in the world teach the history of their country to the younger generation and actually tell them the truth?

Why aren’t female sanitary products free to the women who need them?

How did the Mayan, Aztec, Inca and Egyptian dynasties build their structures?

Which orange came first? The colour or the fruit?

If a description is a perception of something. Can you accurately describe yourself?

Where do you draw the line with animals between pet and food?

If everyone in the country took early retirement at the same time, what would happen to the economy?

Why do Atheists celebrate Christmas?

Why does belly button fluff suddenly start to appear when you hit your 30s?

Why don’t Governments put the best scientist together to work on the development for the cure of cancer?

Why aren’t trees protected in the same way old buildings are? Some trees have been there for a good while longer I reckon

Why do girls think they look good with them filters on their pictures?

What is the point in cats?

People saying that the water levels are rising and it is global warming. It’s not. There’s too many fish in the sea. Catch more fish and then the water level will drop. Simple science. Also it’ll help to feed the worlds hunger problem in deprived areas.

Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

Where does a text message go when you delete it?

How can two people see the same thing but perceive it differently?

If people stopped labelling others as racists, would racism disappear?

Are you ever destined to be content or will you be eternally striving for it?

Do sea creatures get ill?

You don’t see cross eyed dogs do you?

Teeth are so small yet cause the most pain

Tigers have “false eyes” on the back of their ears to discourage predators from attacking them from behind. What the hell does a tiger consider a predator?

If you squeeze your ear lobe, it feels exactly like the fried eggs in a packet of Haribo.

Imagine a World Without Constraints 🌎🌍🌏

Have you ever stopped at pondered that everything you are thinking about and your thoughts are actually somebody else’s? Based on the ideas of others that have thrust their labels, numerology and regimes into our lives? The language we use. The illusion of time. Is there anything you can do that is truly exclusive? What is an original thought that you can have? Is it possible to have one?

The illusion of time creates a detachment from reality. Preoccupied by a causative past and absorbed into a prominent future. Neither of them exist as only the present exists. Do now what you need to and get on with it. I’d abolish seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, clocks and watches. There’s no need for them. If a week is in a cycle then it will rotate and have no end. A continuous motion. Animals have survived as long as us without it. It puts pressure on you too. Age is a constraint and if you hit 70/80 you worry about what day is your last purely because others died about your age. Workforce’s would prosper too. No restraint on deadlines. Get the work done, it’s finished when it’s finished. Maybe this is why the Egyptians and Mayan empires built their pyramids, just got on with it and finished when they finished

Uncharted territory and lands were explored by wealthy countries in years gone by. Countries made up with people either intrigued to explore and learn, coexist with their surroundings or possibly they were simply not satisfied with their own domain and wanted more. Boundaries weren’t established and Countries named prior to man being on Earth. We created a segregation. Jostling for power. Would there be wars if there was no differentiation between one another and we were all one nationality? Why can’t we just live on Earth and be the Humans of the Human Race so we might get to that finish line in first place?

Wars have happened throughout history. The purpose of war is peace. Peace is seldom found though. Are we doing it wrong? The Romans, Vikings, Normans, Saxons, Huns, Civil wars in both England & America, the Jacobite rebellion and the last battle on British soil at Culloden Moor on 16th April 1746 and the subsequent highland clearances so Scotland wouldn’t question England’s rule of them again. Spanish civil war, two world wars only last century and far too many more to mention. Alas, the threat of further wars still remain. A constant cycle of conflicts, conquests and control. So far it seems war doesn’t work. You’ll never have peace as long as you have segregation and constraints. Parameters on what you are allowed to do is a paralysis of your evolution.
